Leather Repair FAQ

Quick answers about how we work, what we repair and how to get a quote. Don’t see your question? Call (305) XXX-XXXX or send us a message.

How we work

Yes. We’re a fully mobile service. We repair leather at your home, office, marina or business anywhere in Miami-Dade, so there’s nothing to haul to a shop.

Miami, Miami Beach, Hialeah, Miami Gardens, Kendall, Homestead, Doral, North Miami, Coral Gables, Cutler Bay, Aventura, Brickell and nearby communities. See Service Areas for the full list.

Monday to Saturday, 7am to 9pm. We’re closed on Sunday.

Someone needs to let us in and show us the piece. After that, you can go about your day while we work.

Access to the piece, some space to work around it and a nearby power outlet. For cars and boats, a dry spot, ideally in the shade.

Quotes and pricing

Send a few photos of the damage through the quote form, with a short description. We’ll reply with a price and a time that works for you.

Yes. Quotes from photos are always free and don’t commit you to anything.

It depends on the type of damage, the size of the area, the color and how many pieces need work. That’s why we quote from photos rather than list fixed prices.

In most cases, yes. Repairing a worn armrest or seat usually costs a fraction of a new sofa or new car seat upholstery.

Repairs and results

We match color, sheen and grain so the repair blends into the surrounding leather. From a normal viewing distance it should be hard to spot. Very deep damage may still show slightly up close.

Not always. Bonded or bicast leather that peels in thin flakes often can’t be repaired for the long term. We’ll tell you honestly from your photos.

It depends on the job. Small repairs are often finished in one visit; larger ones may need more time. We’ll give you an estimate with the quote.

We’ll tell you on the day how long to wait. It depends on the repair and the weather.

No, only genuine leather. Vinyl and faux leather need different materials and don’t hold a repair the same way.

Our services

Yes: seats, steering wheels, armrests, console lids and door panels. See Car Interior Leather.

Yes, or restore the original color if it has faded. See Recoloring & Redye.

Leather care

Dust it regularly, wipe spills right away, keep it out of direct sun where you can, and have it cleaned and conditioned once or twice a year. Avoid household cleaners, baby wipes and all-purpose sprays: they dry out leather and strip its finish.
