Leather recoloring in Miami – technician applying dye to an armchair

New color for leather that still has years left

Most leather loses its color long before the hide itself wears out. Sunlight through Miami windows and windshields fades it unevenly, and daily use rubs color off armrests and seat edges. Leather recoloring in Miami brings back an even, uniform color without replacing the piece.

We mix color to match your leather, or to the new shade you choose, and apply it in thin layers with a protective topcoat. Cracks and scratches are repaired before recoloring, so the finish covers a smooth surface. For damage beyond color, see Leather Furniture Repair.

Rubbed-off color

Leather recoloring FAQ

The color is sealed with a protective topcoat. Once it has cured, it shouldn’t transfer under normal use. We’ll tell you how long to wait before using the piece.

In most cases, yes. Going darker is the simplest; going much lighter takes more coats. Send photos and tell us the color you want, and we’ll confirm.

Most finished leather on furniture and cars can. Unfinished aniline leather absorbs color differently and will look different after recoloring. We’ll check the type from your photos.

Yes. We can recolor a single armrest or seat and blend it into the surrounding leather, or do the whole piece for the most even result.
